ORIENTATION
Orientation is the place to start for anyone new to FVTV. Orientation is free, so come check it out. You'll learn about the resources and equipment available to you at FVTV. You'll also learn about FVTV's mission and goal to be the premier public access station in the Northwest. Perhaps best of all, you meet the people that make FVTV possible and the experienced producers that are available to share their knowledge.

INTRO TO CAMERA WORK
In this class you'll learn to use two different professional camcorders. Skills taught include set-up and tripod use, shot framing, balancing, color adjustment, focusing, sound considerations and proper camera maintenance. Equipment taught in this class is the Sony DSR 250 and Sony PD 150 DVCAM Camcorders.
After successfully completing this class you'll be certified to checkout FVTV cameras for your own filed productions. No prior experience necessary. Ages 14 and over.
Second Saturday of every month, 4 pm - 8 pm, $35

HD CAMERA
We have a brand new solid-state HD camera available to those that have mastered the PD 150 and DSR 250 cameras taught in the Intro course. Note that Comcast does not cablecast FVTV Channel 11 in HD.

MOBILE STUDIO (MULTI-CAMERA) PRODUCTION
We have two four-camera mobile studio to simultaneously capture up to four camera angles. Switching can be done in real time or in post-production. Learning multi-camera production is a great way to meet other producers at FVTV on multi-vrew shoots.
